WEEDCRUSHER SUPER | GLUFOSINATE AMMONIUM

GENERAL INFORMATION:

WEEDCRUSHER SUPER contains Glufosinate Ammonium and is used for control of a wide range of annual and and perennial broad-leaved weeds and grasses in fruit orchards, vineyards, rubber, and, oil palm plantations, ornamental trees and bushes, non-crop land and pre-emergence in vegetable. Also used as a desiccant in potatoes, sunflowers etc.  for control of annual, and perennial weeds in glufosinate-tolerant crops (Oilseed rape, maize, soya beans, sugar beet), developed through gene technology.

PRECAUTIONS:

• Do not take internally.
• Avoid skin, eye and, mouth contact.
• Do not chew, eat, drink, or smoke during handling and application.
• Use protective clothing while applying this product.
• Wash hands with soap and water after use. Change the contaminated clothes.

SYMPTOMS OF POISONING:

Hyperthermia, Dyspnoea, Bradycardia, Ataxia, Diarrhoea, Convulsions.

FIRST AID:

• If inhaled move patient to fresh air.
• Wash contaminated skin with plenty of soap and water. Remove contaminated clothes.
• If eyes are contaminated, flush eyes thoroughly with water for at least 15 minutes and refer to doctor.
• In case of ingestion: DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING unless told to do so by the doctor. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
• In emergency take the patient to the nearest hospital.

STORAGE:

• The packages containing the herbicide shall be stored in a separate room or premises away from the rooms or premises used for storing other articles under lock & key.
• The room or premises meant for storing the material shall be well built, dry, well lit and of sufficient dimensions for proper ventilation.

ANTIDOTE:

No specific antidote is known. Treat symptomatically.

RECOMMENDATIONS:

• Field crops: 3L/ha + diluted in 200 – 300L of water as pre-plant.
• Fruit crops and nut: 4L/ha diluted in 200 – 300L of water as directed spray.

DIRECTION FOR USE:

• Half fill 16L tank with clean water, add the required quantity of Weedcrusher Super, shake, add more water to make up the volume required, shake again before spraying.
• Apply prior to planting or prior to crop emergence. When applying in-season, a hooded sprayer must be used. Apply to emerged, young, actively growing weeds. Application should not exceed 2 times in one growing season.
• Maize: Apply prior to planting or prior to crop emergence.
• Soyabean: Apply prior to planting or prior to crop emergence. Apply to emerged young actively growing weeds.
• Pome fruits, Grapes, Nuts, Citrus: Apply as banded/directed spray/spot treatment. Apply to emerged young actively growing weeds.  Avoid direct spray, drift, or mist to desirable vegetation, green bark, stems, or foliage as injury may occur. Do not make more than 3 applications through any combination of use patterns in one growing season.

Pre-Harvest Interval:

• Cotton – 70 days.
• Maize – 60 days.
• Soyabean – 70 days
• Grapes, Nuts, Citrus, Pome fruits – 14 days.
• Re-Entry Period: 48 hours

DISPOSAL OF CONTAINER:

The packages shall be broken and buried away from habilitation. The used containers shall not be left outside to prevent their re-use. Packages or surplus material and washing from the machines should be disposed off in safe manner so as to prevent environmental pollution.
