Rocket is widely used to control wood-destroying insects in soil and foliage in over 100 crops like maize, millet, sorghum, rice, beans, cowpeas, soybean, groundnuts, potatoes, sweet potatoes, strawberries, cocoa, cola, citrus, dates, plantain, banana, cotton, sunflower, tobacco, turf, asparagus, vegetables such as pepper, cabbage, tomato, onion, okra, etc.
General information:
Chlorpyrifos 20% EC is an organophosphate, cholinesterase inhibitor, and non-systemic insecticide with contact, stomach, and respiratory action. Rocket has a long-lasting effect and it is applied to control agricultural pests.
Principal uses:
Rocket is widely used to control Coleoptera, Homoptera, Lepidoptera, and wood-destroying insects in soil and foliage in over 100 crops like maize, millet, sorghum, rice, beans, cowpeas, soybean, groundnuts, potatoes, sweet potatoes, strawberries, cocoa, cola, citrus, dates, plantain, banana, cotton, sunflower, tobacco, turf, asparagus, vegetables such as pepper, cabbage, tomato, onion, okra, etc.
Direction of use:
Calibrate the sprayer before use. Half-fill the sprayer with clean water and add the recommended quantity of Rocket. Agitate during the completion of filling then destroy the container. If Rocket remains in the container, replace the cap tightly after use.

Pre-harvest interval: Depends on crop: 21 days for cotton, 7 days for rice and vegetables, 10 days for wheat and corn, 30 days for leguminous crops.
Compatibility: Rocket is not compatible with alkaline materials.
Protective precautions:
Avoid contact with eyes, skin, clothing and breathing vapors. Wear protective clothing, gloves and goggles. Do not drink, eat or smoke tobacco during application. Wash the used equipment and bathe after application.
First aid:
If contaminated with skin or clothing, take off contaminated clothes and rinse skin with plenty of water. If inhaled, move the person to fresh air. If the person is not breathing, give artificial respiration. If swallowed, induce vomiting and drink enough water. Seek medical attention.
Handling and storage cautions:
Do not store near food, feed, or drinking water. Store in a dry, well-ventilated area below 30OC.
Disposal of the pesticides’ empty containers:
Wastes should be disposed off in a landfill approved for pesticide disposal or according to Federal, State and local rules.
