GENERAL INFORMATION:
WEEDBURNER contains 200g paraquat ion per litre Soluble liquid
USES:
Control of most broad-leaved annual weeds and grasses in fruits, vegetables, plantation crops, and ornamentals.
APPLICATIONS
Ground sprayers: Use 50 – 200 litres of water per hectare.
Aerial Spraying: Use 50 litres of water per hectare
Apply WEEDBURNER as follows:
Plantation Crops: 1.5 to 3.0 litres/hectare
Fruit Crops: 1.5 to 3.0 litres/hectare
Sugar Cane: 1.5 to 3.0 litres/hectare
Non-Tillage, Pre-plant and pre-emergence: 1.5 to 3.0 litres/hectare
Inter-row spraying: 1.5 to 3.0 litres/hectare
Uncropped land: 1.5 to 4.0 litres/hectare
DIRECTION FOR USE:
Half-fill the spray tank with clean water. Add the required quantity of WEEDBURNER into the spray tank, shake properly and add more water to make up the required volume of water. Shake again to ensure the mixture is adequately homogenized before spraying.
APPLICATION PRECAUTIONS:
- Avoid spray drift onto susceptible crops.
- Avoid spraying on crops suffering from drought stress.
- Do not spray if it is raining.
- Allow 4 hours after spraying before cultivation.
Re-entry period: 48 hours
Pre-harvest interval: 14 days
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS:
Do not use WEEDBURNER in a mist blower. When using either a knapsack or hand-held sprayers mix at least 40 parts of water with each part of WEEDBURNER. Wear suitable protective gloves and face/eye protection (face shield/goggles). Concentrated WEEDBURNER® can damage your eyes, if it gets into your eyes, wash out at once. Read the FIRST AID section. Do not smoke, drink or eat while using this product.
Concentrated WEEDBURNER can irritate your skin if it gets in touch with your skin. Wash off at once with water. If it spills on your clothes, pull the clothes and wash them immediately.
SPRAYING: As with all chemicals, avoid contact with the spray mist as much as you can.
AFTER SPRAYING: Wash yourself and wash all used clothes. Wash out the bottle when empty, do not reuse the bottle again.
DISPOSAL OF CONTAINER: Do not reuse container for any purpose. After use, empty container should be crushed, cut, burned, or buried. Do not dump unwanted WEEDBURNER into water. Keep unused WEEDBURNER in this bottle tightly closed, locked up out of reach of children and away from food and animals until the spray is dried.
STORAGE: Store out of reach of children, under lock and key, and away from food, drink, and animal feeding stuff. Store in the original container tightly closed.
FIRST AID:
EYE SPLASHES: Hold eyelids apart and pour in a gentle stream of water for 10 to 15 minutes. Go to see a Doctor.
IF SWALLOWED: Immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician. DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING! Rinse mouth thoroughly.
EMERGENCY MEDICAL TREATMENT:
Give 1 litre suspension of Fuller’s earth (15%) or Bentonite (7%) or activated charcoal. Also, give purgative e.g. Mannitol (20%) solution.
FATAL if inhaled.
TOXIC if swallowed and in contact with skin.
IRRITATING to skin and eyes.
