PRECAUTIONS
Do not apply post-emergency for aquatic weed control.
Wear suitable protective clothing such as goggles, overalls, and PVC gloves. When using, do not eat, drink, or smoke. Wash hands after use and before meals. Store in original containers away from children, animals, and foodstuffs. Do not contaminate ponds, streams, or ditches with product or used containers. Harmful to fish, and irritating to the eyes and skin.
SAFETY INTERVAL:
Keep livestock out of the treated area for at least 5 days.
Allow at least 1 week before applying other chemicals.
WITHHOLDING PERIOD: Edible crops 14 days
RE-ENTRY PERIOD: 1-3 days
FIRST AID GENERAL: Stop working, rest, and remove contaminated clothing. In case of eye or skin contact, wash thoroughly with water several times. If ingested, treat symptomatically, and induce vomiting provided that the patient is conscious.
STORAGE:
Store out of reach of children, under lock and key, and away from food, drinks, and animal feeding stuff, store in original container, tightly closed.
RECOMMENDATION FOR USE
Relisate Herbicide is a systemic post-emergency herbicide for control of a wide range of weeds in cultivated lands e.g. For the killing of pasture prior to crop planting, for weed control around trees, non-cropped areas and on industrial sites. Relisate is inactivated in contact with soil and therefore has no residual activity. It is not taken up by roots.
DILUTIONS
Dilute only with clean water. Always add concentrate to water and stir. Do not store diluted herbicide. Suitable for application with all types of surface spraying equipment.
APPLICATION RATES
Although these may vary according to prevailing local conditions, as a general guideline, apply the following amounts in 100-200 litres of water.
Annual grasses and Annual broad-leaved weeds: 3 litres/hectare
Perennial grasses: 4 litres/hectare
Perennial broad-leaved weeds: 6 litres/hectare
Non-crop areas: 5 litres/hectare in 200-400 litres of water
EQUIPMENT
Apply with knapsacks or mounted booms sprayer at 100-400 litres spray volume/ha or with controlled droplet applicators at 50-200 litres/ha; or by aircraft at 20-50 litres/ha.
Apply to freshly cut stomps of unwanted trees and shrubs with a trigger bottle spray or with a paintbrush.
