PARACOT SUPER | GLUFISINATE AMMONIUM

PARACOT SUPER is a non-selective contact pre-planting and land clearing herbicide for the control of annual and perennial grasses in non-cropped areas.

Precautions:

• Avoid contact with eyes and skin when handling the concentrate or spray solution. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling. Avoid inhalation of spray mist. Do not drink, eat, or smoke during application.
• Remove contaminated clothes and wash before reuse. Do not reuse containers. The user should use full protection clothing which includes gloves, boots, face shield, and rubber apron, hood, or hat. Use goggles to protect eyes.
• Symptoms of poisoning: The early symptoms of poisoning may be any combination of headache, giddiness, nausea, vomiting, sweating, excessive lacrimation, and salivation.

First Aid:

• If poisoning is suspected call the doctor immediately and begin the recommended procedures given below. Keep the original label for the physician.
• Eye contact: Rinse immediately with gently running water for about 15 minutes, maintaining the eyelids open and consult an ophthalmologist or a physician. Get medical attention if irritation persists.
• Skin contact: Remove the contaminated clothes immediately and wash thoroughly with plenty of soap and water. If a skin rush develops, see a doctor.
• Ingestion: If ingested, carry out gastric lavage with care to prevent aspiration. Treat symptomatically and supportively, if vomiting occurs keep head lower than hips to prevent aspiration. Get medical attention immediately. Never give fluids or induce vomiting if patient is unconscious or having convulsions.

Storage and Handling:

Store the product in cool and dry place, away from heat or open flame. Keep away from foodstuff, empty foodstuff containers and animal food. While spraying insecticide, workers must wear protective clothing like rubber hat, boots, overall, facemask, goggle, and hand gloves. Mix the recommended quantity of the product in recommended quantity of water to provide uniform coverage. While mixing the product with water, do not mix by bare hands, use a wooden stick.

• Do not smoke, drink, eat, and chew anything while spraying.
• Spraying should be done early in the morning or late in the evening. Spraying should be done in the direction of the wind.
• Avoid spraying in afternoon hours and windy days.

DISPOSAL OF CONTAINER:

Dispose off in a safe manner, so as to prevent environmental or water pollution. The used package should not be left outside for re-use. The package should be broken and buried away from inhabitants.

APPLICATION METHODS:

Do not treat weeds that are under poor growing conditions such as in drought stress, disease or insect damage as reduced weed control may result. Poor results may occur if weeds are treated whilst heavily covered with dust or have been mowed, grazed, or cut and have not been allowed to re-grow to the recommended stage for treatment. Rain or irrigation occurring within 6 hours after application may reduce effectiveness. Heavy rainfall or irrigation within 2 hours after application may wash the chemical off the foliage and a repeat treatment may be required.

APPLICATION TIMING:

To achieve efficient control, PARACOT SUPER should be applied post-emergence when the weeds have attained 30cm height. i.e. at 2-4 leaf stage.

MIXING INSTRUCTIONS:

Fill the spray tank half full with water, Add the appropriate volumes of PARACOT SUPER into the spray tank, Start agitation, Complete filling the spray tank with water, then continue agitation, If foaming occurs, use a silicone-based antifoam agent.
