JAP Oxytocin is a nonapeptide protein hormone which is produced endogenously in the hypothalamus. Oxytocin promotes contractions of the smooth muscular tissues from the oestrogen sensitised uterus and lacteal gland.
Indication:
Labour weakness, promotion of involutio uteri, retentio secundinarum, uterus atonia, uterus haemorrhages, and treatment of agalactia post partum

By intramuscular or subcutaneous or slow intravevenous every 3-4 hours
Mares and Cows: 4-5ml
Sows: 2-4ml
