Description

Centre Gentamycin Doxycycline – Broad-Spectrum Veterinary Antibiotic

Centre Gentamycin Doxycycline is a broad-spectrum veterinary antibiotic formulated with the combined antibacterial activity of gentamicin and doxycycline. It is indicated for the treatment of susceptible gastrointestinal and respiratory infections in poultry and livestock caused by microorganisms sensitive to doxycycline and/or gentamicin.

Bacterial infections can affect animal health, growth, feed intake, productivity, and farm profitability. In poultry and livestock, respiratory and digestive diseases may spread quickly or become severe when not properly managed. Centre Gentamycin Doxycycline provides a targeted veterinary treatment option when the causative organisms are susceptible to its active ingredients.

Broad Activity Against Susceptible Microorganisms

Centre Gentamycin Doxycycline is indicated for infections associated with susceptible microorganisms, including:

  • Bordetella spp.
  • Campylobacter spp.
  • Chlamydia spp.
  • Escherichia coli (E. coli)
  • Klebsiella spp.
  • Haemophilus spp.
  • Mycoplasma spp.
  • Pasteurella spp.
  • Rickettsia spp.
  • Salmonella spp.
  • Staphylococcus spp.
  • Streptococcus spp.

The combination of gentamicin and doxycycline provides broad antibacterial coverage against susceptible organisms involved in different disease conditions.

Supports Respiratory Health

Centre Gentamycin Doxycycline is indicated for susceptible bacterial infections affecting the respiratory system. Respiratory disease may result in coughing, sneezing, nasal discharge, breathing difficulty, reduced appetite, poor growth, and reduced productivity.

Where laboratory findings, veterinary diagnosis, or clinical assessment indicate susceptible bacteria, appropriate treatment can support recovery and help reduce the effects of infection.

Helps Manage Gastrointestinal Infections

The product is also indicated for susceptible gastrointestinal infections in poultry and livestock. Digestive infections can cause diarrhoea, reduced feed intake, poor nutrient absorption, dehydration, and reduced growth or production.

Effective treatment should be combined with proper hygiene, clean drinking water, quality nutrition, and good farm biosecurity.
