PRONOR is a broad-spectrum antibiotic specifically formulated to combat a wide range of bacterial infections in livestock and companion animals. It is highly effective against Gram-positive bacteria such as Streptococcus and Staphylococcus species, as well as toxin-producing organisms like Clostridium spp., making it ideal for the treatment of systemic and localized infections.
This powerful formulation targets diseases such as pneumonia, strep throat, necrotizing enterocolitis, leptospirosis, gas gangrene, diphtheria, cellulitis, and tetanus, among others. PRONOR is also used in the management of syphilis and other systemic bacterial infections where rapid therapeutic response is crucial.

Properties:
The association of two penicillin salts enable to exert both a prompt action due to the high blood levels produced by the soluble Sodium salt and a prolonged action of the insoluble procaine penicillin salt which is absorbed and excreted slowly.

Dosage and administration:
Add 8 ml of Water for injection.
Intramuscular injections only.
Dosage: 1ml for 15 kg of body weight per day, during 3 to 5 days.

Cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, and other domestic animals
A single injection of the preparation can maintain an effective concentration in blood for 12-24 hours.
Precautions:
Shake before use. Sensitivity reactions to penicillin and procaine may occur as respiratory distress. If such signs of sensitivity occurs, stop medication immediately.
Contra-indications:
Allergy to Beta-lactam or procaine.
Storage:
Once water for injection has been added, use quickly and store below 10 °C.
