NI DEXAM is an adjuvant therapy for severe infectious diseases such as various sepsis, toxic pneumonia, toxic bacillary dysentery, peritonitis, acute postpartum metritis; treatment for allergic diseases such as allergic rhinitis, urticaria, allergic airway inflammation, acute laminitis, atopic eczema and etc. Shock treatment of various causes; cattle ketosis and sheep pregnancy toxemia; induction of parturition for sheep and cattle.
INDICATIONS
Adjuvant therapy for severe infectious diseases such as various sepsis, toxic pneumonia, toxic bacillary dysentery, peritonitis, acute postpartum metritis; treatment for allergic diseases such as allergic rhinitis, urticaria, allergic airway inflammation, acute laminitis, atopic eczema and etc. Shock treatment of various causes; cattle ketosis and sheep pregnancy toxemia; induction of parturition for sheep and cattle.
ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE
For intramuscular administration
Horses: 1.25-2.5ml, 2.5-5mg daily
Cattle: 2.5-10ml, 5-20mg daily
Sheep goats and pigs: 2-6ml, 4-12mg daily
For intra-articular administration
Horses and cattle: 1-5ml, 2-10mg daily
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD
Cattle, sheep, goats, and pigs: 21days
Milk: 72 hours
Do not use in horses intended for human consumption.
ADVERSE REACTIONS
Adverse effects include Gl ulceration, hepatopathy, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, decreased thyroid hormone, decreased protein synthesis, delayed wound healing, and immunosuppression. Secondary infections can occur as a result of immunosuppression and include Demodex, toxoplasmosis, fungal infections, and UTIs. In horses, additional adverse effects include the risk of laminitis.
STORAGE
Seal and store below 30°C, protect from light. Keep out of reach of children.
