Indications
Poultry
For treatment of mixed infections specially complicated CRD, Non specific diarrhoea, Blue Comb, Mud Fever, Fowl Cholera, Coli- Septicaemia, Pullorum Disease, Infectious synovitis, Secondary Bacterial infections caused by Gram positive and Gram negative Bacteria.
Large and Small Animals
Respiratory infections, Haemorrhagic Septicaemia, Black Quarter, Anthrax, Mastitis, Leptospirosis, Listeriosis, Actinobacillosis, Lamb Pneumonia, Secondary complications associated with Blue Tongue, Foot and mouth disease and other viral diseases.
Dosage
Poultry
Prevention of early chick mortality:
1 gm in 10 litres of drinking water for 4 to 5 days.
Prophylactic Use: 1 gm in 10 litres of drinking water for 4 to 5 days.
Treatment of severe outbreaks:
1 gm in 5 litres of drinking water for 4 to 5 days.
Large and Small Animals
Cattle, Horse, Sheep, Goat, Swine and Dogs: 10 to 20 mg of Megadox-N per kg of body weight orally for 5-7 days.
(Double the dose on the first day for faster results or as advised by the veterinarian).
Withdrawal Period:
Poultry: Meat: 5 days. Eggs: Not recommended in birds producing eggs for human consumption.
Livestock: Slaughter: 14 days.
Should not be used in cattle producing milk for human consumption.
