Description
Indications
For treating shipping fever, pneumonia, foot rot, calf diphtheria, and metritis in beef cattle and non-lactating dairy cattle. For treating mycoplasmal swine arthritis, Pasteurella pneumonia, erysipelas, and acute swine dysentery in swine.
Administration and Dosage
By Intramuscular route:
Beef and non-lactating dairy cattle: 1ml per 10-20 kg of body weight once daily. Not to exceed 5 days. Do not inject more than 10 ml per injection site.
Swine: 5-13ml/kg body weight, twice a day
Precautions
Do not mix tylosin injection with other injectable solutions as this may cause precipitation of the active ingredients. Do not administer to horses or other equines
Species. Injection of tylosin in equines has been fatal.
Withdrawal Time
Cattle: 21 days
Sheep and goat: 14 days
