Adjuvant Therapy:

JAP Dexamethasone serves as an adjunct therapy for severe infectious diseases such as sepsis, toxic pneumonia, bacillary dysentery, peritonitis, and acute postpartum metritis.

Allergic Diseases Treatment:

Effective in managing allergic conditions like allergic rhinitis, urticaria, allergic airway inflammation, acute laminitis, and atopic eczema.

Shock Treatment:

Utilized in the treatment of shock resulting from various causes, providing essential support during critical health crises.

Ketosis and Pregnancy Toxemia:

Beneficial for addressing ketosis in cattle and pregnancy toxemia in sheep, ensuring optimal health during crucial stages.

Induction of Parturition:

Facilitates the induction of parturition in sheep and cattle, aiding in the smooth delivery process.

Indication:

Adjuvant therapy for severe infectious diseases such as various sepsis, toxic pneumonia, toxic bacillary dysentery, peritonitis, and acute postpartum metritis; treatment for allergic diseases such as allergic rhinitis, urticaria, allergic airway inflammation, acute laminitis, atopic eczema, etc. Shock treatment of various causes; cattle ketosis and sheep pregnancy toxemia; induction of parturition for sheep and cattle.

Administration and Dosage:

For intramuscular administration

Horses: 1.25-2.5ml, 2.5-5mg daily

Cattle: 2.5-10ml, 5-20mg daily

Sheep goats and pigs: 2-6ml, 4-12mg daily

For intra-articular administration

Horses and cattle: 1-5ml, 2-10mg daily

Adverse Reaction:

Adverse effects include Gl ulceration, hepatopathy, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, decreased thyroid hormone, decreased protein synthesis, delayed wound healing, and immunosuppression. Secondary infections can occur as a result of immunosuppression and include Demodex, toxoplasmosis, fungal infections, and UTIs. In horses, additional adverse effects include the risk of laminitis.

Withdrawal Period:

Cattle, sheep, goats, and pigs: 21 days

Milk: 72 hours

Do not use in horses intended for human consumption.

Storage:

Seal and store below 30°C, protect from light.

Keep out of reach of children.
