-IODINOR continuously releases free iodine, destroying the metabolism of pathogenic microorganisms and killing them.

Indications:

• General surface disinfections: Skins, wounds, minor burns, insects stings, umbilical stumps for animal; besides, farms, hatcheries, stables and equipments
• It is used in control of epidemics: Newcastle disease (ND), Brucellosis.
• It is used for disinfection of surgical sites and skin mucous membranes.

Dosage and Administration

• Foot and Mouth Disease, Pododermatitis, Interdigital necrobacillosis: 8ml/ litre of water for foot bath.
• Disinfection of poultry houses, sheep folds, stables, equipments, vehicle foots and wheel dipping basins: 7ml/ litre of water for washing and fogging.
• Routine disinfection: 3.5ml/ litre of water for fogging.
• Newcastle disease, Avian influenza: 12.5mi/litre of water for washing of poultry house and fogging
• Mycoplasma spp: 33.5ml/litre of water for fogging should be repeated with6 or 12 days interval when the Infection exists.
• Mammary antisepsis: 4 litre for dipping.
• Drinking disinfection (enteric infection area): 1 ml/6-8 litre of water for drinking directly
• For prevention: Daily fogging air disinfection of closed barns and houses: 1ml/50ml-1000ml undiluted solution for 1000 cubic meter air.
• Skin disinfection and treatment of skin diseases, 5% solution; cow nipple soaking, 0.5%-1% solution: mucous membrane and wound washing, 0.1% solution.

Contraindication:

Don’t use in animals which are hypersensitive to iodine.

Precautions:

It is prohibited for animals allergic to iodine.

When the solution turns white or yellow, it loses its disinfection activity. (ask the manufacturer the assurance of this statement 2)

It should not be used in combinations with mercury-containing drugs

Cautions:

Avoid contact with eyes, skin, inhalation and swallowing. Wash containers with water before discarding.
