Description
INDICATIONS:
Adacox wsp is effective in the treatment of the following diseases:
Poultry
-Intestinal Coccidiosis;
– Mixed coccidial and bacterial infections;
– Pullorum disease;
– Fowl typhoid;
– E. Coli infections.
Calves, lambs, piglets: Enteritis caused by coccidial and bacterial infections
CONTRA-INDICATIONS:
Do not administer to animals hypersensitive to sulphadimidine sodium or diaveridine.
SIDE EFFECTS:
Anaemia, leucopenia, and thrombocytopenia. Overdosing may cause bleeding, kidney damage, diarrhea, immuno- suppression, and peripheral neuritis.
INCOMPATIBILITY WITH OTHER DRUGS:
Do not combine Adacox wsp with other anti-bacterial, coccidiostatic or coccidiocidal drugs.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
For oral administration via drinking water. In calves, lambs, and kids: the use of a drenching gun is recommended.
Poultry:
100 g per 500 liters of drinking water during 5 days. This is equivalent to 20 mg per kg bodyweight.
Calves, lambs, kids:
1 g per 60 kg of body weight per day, during 4 – 5 days.
Medicated drinking water should be used within 24 hours.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:
Meat Eggs: 12 days
Eggs: 12 days
STORAGE:
Store in a dry, dark place between 2 °C and 25 °C.
Store in a closed packing.
Keep medicine away from children.
