Description
Indications:
Embafax is a broad-spectrum anthelmintic for the treatment of single or mixed infections of the following types of intestinal parasites in cattle, sheep, and goats. Gastro-intestinal roundworms, larval and adult stages of Bunastomum, Cooperia, Hoemonchus, Nematodirus, Ostertagia, Trichostrongylus, and adult stages only of Oesophagostomum, Chabertia, and Strongyloides.
Lungworms: Dictyocaulus, Viviparus.
Tapeworms: Monieza expanza, M. Benedeni
Administration of Embafax:
Orally using a balling gun or crushed and given in drinking water or feed.
Dosage:
For Roundworms, Lungworms, Tapeworms
Cattle and Camel, Sheep and Goat: 15 mg/kg body wt.
For Liver Fluke:
Cattle and Camel, Sheep and Goat: 7.5 mg/kg body wt.
Precautions:
Do not administer in cows and ewes during the first 45 days of pregnancy.
Storage: Store in a cool and dry place, below 30°C
Withdrawal Period:
Meat: 15 days.
Milk: 5 days.
