CLOSINOR 5% INJECTION | Dewormer for Cattle & Sheep
₦2,800.00
CLOSINOR 5% Injection is a powerful synthetic antiparasitic agent effective against liver flukes, bloodsucking nematodes, and larval arthropods in cattle and sheep.
Description:
CLOSINOR 5% Injection is a synthetic anti-parasitic agent. It is highly effective against liver fluke, bloodsucking nematodes and larval stages of some arthropods in sheep and cattle.
Closinor decouples the mitochondrial oxidative phosphorylation, which leads to the inhibition of ATP synthesis.
That causes a significant change in the energy metabolism, and as a consequence the death of the parasite.
Mode of Action
CLOSINOR works by decoupling mitochondrial oxidative phosphorylation in parasites. This inhibits ATP synthesis, disrupting energy metabolism and leading to parasite death. The targeted action ensures minimal risk of resistance and maximum efficacy.
Indications:
CLOSINOR 5% Injection is used for the treatment and prevention of several infections caused by parasites sensitive to Closinor like Fasciola hepatica, Fasciola gigantica, Haemonchus concortus, Haemonchus placei, Bunostomum phlebotomum, Oesophagostomum radiatum, and Strongyloides papillosus in cattle and sheep.
- In cattle: treatment and prevention of infections caused by parasites sensitive to Closinor like Hypoderma bovis
- In sheep: treatment and prevention of infections caused by parasites sensitive to Closinor like Paramphistomum spp. Chabertia ovina, and Oestrus ovis.
