ASHTYL 20%

INDICATIONS:

Chicken & Turkeys: For the control of mortality caused by necrotic enteritis associated with Clostridium perfingens in broiler chickens. Chronic Respiratory Disease (CRD) caused by Mycoplasma gallisepticum, Mycoplasma synoviae.

Calves: Bovine pneumonia & calf scour.

Pig: Swine dysentery & enzootic pneumonia.

CONTRAINDICATION:

Not to be used in animals hypersensitive to Tylosin or other macrolide antibiotics (e.g. erythromycin).

Do not use Ashtyl 20% in layers producing eggs for human consumption.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:

Chicken & Turkeys: 0.5 g of Tylosin per litre of drinking water or 1 teaspoonful of Ashtyl 20% in 2 litres of drinking water for 3-5 days.

Calves: 05 g to 1 g Tylosin activity per calf administered orally twice daily for 7-14 days.

The product may be given in the milk or milk replacer.

Pigs: 3-6 mg Tylosin / kg b. wt. or 100 g Tylosin / ton of feed.

PRECAUTIONS:

Do not use the same solution for more than three days.

Do not leave or dispose of water containing Tylosin where it may be accessible to animals not under treatment or wildlife.

MEAT:

Calves: 14 days.

Broiler Chickens: 1 day.

Turkeys and Pigs: 0 day.

STORAGE:

Store below 30°C in a dry place, protected from light.
