Description
INDICATIONS:
Asampro 20% is indicated for the treatment & control of caecal and intestinal coccidiosis in poultry caused by Eimeria tenella, E maxima, E Brunetti, Emitis & E acervulina.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
Asampro 20% can be administered through drinking water.
Poultry:
Mild Outbreak: 5 g of Asampro 20% per 8 Itr. of drinking water for 5-7 days.
Severe Outbreak: 5 g of Asampro 20% per 4 ltr. of drinking water for 5-7 days.
Calves, Goats & Sheep:
Prevention: 5 mg/kg body weight or 1 g of Asampro 20% per 40 kg body weight, through drinking water or milk for 21 days.
Treatment: 10 mg/kg body weight or 1 g of Asampro 20% per 20 kg for 5 days.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
The use of amprolium is prohibited from a laying age onwards. Do not administer to poultry whose eggs are intended for human consumption, or to animals with impaired liver and/or renal functions. Do not administer to turkeys before the age of 8 to 10 weeks.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD: Animals must not be slaughtered for human consumption during treatment. The withdrawal periods after the last treatment are:
Meat:
Poultry: 3 days
Calves, Goats & Sheep: 3 days
