AMOXICOLINOR 100g

Indications:

AMOXYCOLINOR WSP is an effective broad-spectrum antibiotic on location infections like alimentary tract infections, respiratory infections, urogenital tract infections, and secondary bacterial infections. It is recommended in cases of bacterial enteritis, necrotic enteritis, and respiratory infections in poultry.

Dosage and Administration:

–Poultry: 1 g per 2 liters of drinking water for 3-5 days.

– Calves, lambs: 0.5 g – 0.75 g per 10 kg body weight for 3 to 5 days.

In acute and chronic cases, doses can be given twice daily.

Contra-Indications:

Do not use cautiously in animals allergic to penicillin-like drugs.

Adverse Reaction: Adverse effects of penicillin drug are most commonly caused by drug allergy.

Drug Interactions: Do not mix with Macrolides, Tetracyclines, and Amphenicol drugs.

Pharmacological Actions:

Amoxycillin Trihydrate is a broad-spectrum semi-synthetic amoxicillin that is bactericidal against a wide range of gram-negative and gram-positive pathogens such as Escherichia coli, Salmonella spp, Moraxella spp, Actinomyces bovis, Actinobaccillus ligieresi, Actinobaccillus equuli, Bacillus antracis, Bordetella bronchiseptica, Fusiformis spp, Haemophilus spp, Pasteurella spp, Proteus mirabillis, streptococci, and staphylococcus. Colistin Sulphate has more bacterial activity against gram-negative bacteria such as E. coli, Shigella spp, Klebsiella, and Pseudomonas and its zero toxic effects orally is due to its poor absorption from the GIT.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:

-Meat

Poultry: 7 days

Calves, Lambs: 15 days

Eggs: 28 days

Storage:

Store in a dry, dark place at a temperature below 30°C.

Store in a closed packing.

Keep medicine away from children.

Shelf Life: 4 years
