Sulfaquinoxaline is a chemo-therapeutic with bacteriostatic action against many Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria. The coccidiostatic activity includes Eimeria spp. (E. Necatrix, E. Maxima, E. Acervulina, E. Brunetti etc.) Less sensitive to Sulfanomides are Pseudomonas Aeruginosa, Proteus Vulgaris, and Staphylococcen.
