Recommended Applications in Poultry and Livestock

 Water sanitation
(a) Terminal clean out (in Poultry) 1:200 (0.5%) 5 gm Add to the header tank allow to fill the drinking system, leave for at least 1 hour, then flush through with clean water
(b) Continuous water sanitation 1:1000 (0.1%) 1 gm Add to the header tank or apply through dosing system
Foot dip 1:100 (1%) 10 gm Replace once in a week or when heavily soiled

Do not soak metal Objects for long periods. 10 minutes is the maximum necessary contact time. Approximate water requirement for 1000sq, its area.

Shed with Poultry/Livestock: 12-15 Liters

For Specific Disinfection in Poultry:

  • Chicken Anemia: 20g/liter of water (1:50 dilution)
  • Egg-Drop Syndrome, Hemorrhagic Enteritis, Inclusion Body Hepatitis: 10 g per litre of water (1:100))
  • IBD. Ranikhet Disease, Infection Branchitis, Avian adenoviral Diarrhea: 4 g/liter of water (1:250)
  • Fowl Pox, Fowl Plague, Avian Influenza: 3.5 g/liter of water (1:300)
  • Marek’s Disease, Infections Laryngotracheitis: 1.5 g/liter of water (1:600)

For Specific Disinfection in Livestock:

  • FMD. Bovine enterovirus. Vesicular stomatitis, Ephemeral fever: 5,0 g/liter of water (1:200)
  • Neonatal calf diarrhea: 3.5g/liter of water (1:280)
  • Bovine Viral Diarrhea: 3g/liter of water (1:350)

Storage

Store in a tightly closed container in a cool dry place. Sweep up powder spillage. Flush residual powder away with plenty of water.

Precautions

ViraCid-S Powder is irritating to skin and poses risk of serious damage to eyes. Avoid powder coming into contact with skin, eyes, and the respiratory system. Handle in such a way as to minimize dust release.

Do not mix with other chemicals. In case of contact with skin/eyes, flush immediately with plenty of water. Seek medical advice if need be.
