Indications:
Enrofloxacin and Bromhexine HCL oral solution is a broad-spectrum antibiotic which is used in the treatment of respiratory tract infections with the secretion of mucus, breathing with difficulties, gastrointestinal, urogenital tract infection, dermatitis, pneumonia, chronic respiratory infections, bronchial tract, trachea infections, sinusitis, and mucus related infections. And also effective for paratyphoid, pneumonia, salmonella, coryza, colibaciliosis, ecoli diarrhea, etc. for livestock and poultry bacterial diseases and mycoplasma infection.
Dosage and Administration:
For oral administration
Calves, goats, sheep and swine: Twice daily 1.25ml per 100kg body weight for 2-3 days.
Poultry: 1 litre -1.5 litre per 4000 litres of drinking water for 3-5 days.
Note: for pre-ruminant calves and lambs only.
Adverse Reactions:
- Degeneration of cartilage in young animals, affecting bone development and causing lameness and pain.
- The reaction of the digestive system is loss of appetite, diarrhea, etc
- Skin reaction includes erythema, pruritus, urticaria and photosensitivity
Contraindications:
- Do not use in case of resistance against other fluoroquinolones, due to potential cross-resistance.
- Do not use for prophylaxis
- Do not use in case of hyper sensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.
- Poultry that lay eggs for human consumption shall not be used during the laying period.
- Black bone chicken is prohibited.
- The drug-resistant strain of this product shows an increasing trend and should not be used for a long time at subtherapeutic doses.
- Carnivores and animals with renal dysfunction should be used with caution, which can occasionally cause crystalline urine.
Withdrawal Time:
Poultry: 8 days.
Cattle, sheep: 14 days
Rabbit: 14 days
