Indications:

Tetranor 20 L.A.R is used to treat the diseases caused by Oxytetracycline susceptible organisms in cattle (beef and non-lactating dairy), goats, and sheep. The controlled diseases are Pneumonia, Sheep Fever Complex (which are associated with Pasteurella spp. and Haemophilus spp.); Bovine infections Kerato conjunctivitis (Pinkeye) caused by Moraxella bovis; Foot Rot and Diphtheria caused by Fusobacterium necrophorum; Bacterial Enteritis (scours) caused by Escherichia coli; Wooden Tongue caused by Actinob – Acillus lignieresi; Leptospirosis caused by Leptospira pomona; Wound’s Infections, Mycoplasmosis, Metritis, Abscesses, Acute Mastitis caused by strains of Staphylococci and Streptococci organisms sensitive to Oxytetracycline. Tetranor 20 L.A.R can be used to control the post-operative and post-partum infections in cattle, sheep, goats, and swine.

Dosage and administration:

-Intramuscularly (IM): The dosage rate for cattle, swine, sheep, and goats is 20 mg/kg live body weight

(1 ml/10 kg of live body weight).

– Intravenously (IV): The dosage rate for cattle and sheep is 2-5 mg/kg live body weight.

(1-2.5 ml/100 kg live body weight)

Caution:

• Do not overdose the drug.
• Do not dilute Tetranor 20 L.A.®
• Tetranor 20 L.A. is not recommended for horses, dogs, and cats’ treatments.
• It is not recommended for the treatment of animals with renal or hepatic problems.

Withdrawal time:

Meat: 21 days

Milk: 7 days
