Oxyril – Broad-Spectrum Antibiotic with Vitamins & Antipyretic

Oxyril is a powerful veterinary formulation that combines broad-spectrum antibiotics, essential vitamins, and antipyretic agents to offer a comprehensive solution for the treatment and supportive care of a wide range of infections in livestock and poultry.

This all-in-one formula is specially designed to combat bacterial infections, reduce fever (pyrexia), and enhance recovery and immune function in animals under stress, illness, or post-treatment fatigue. The broad-spectrum antibiotic component acts against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative organisms, making it ideal for systemic infections, including respiratory, gastrointestinal, urinary, and skin infections.

The vitamin complex improves the body’s defense mechanism, enhances nutrient metabolism, and supports faster tissue repair and recovery. The inclusion of antipyretic agents ensures prompt reduction of fever, thereby improving comfort and encouraging feed intake and productivity in ailing animals.

Indications:

Against infections caused by micro-organisms susceptible to Oxytetracycline, such as Respiratory Infections, Gastroenteritis, Metritis, Mastitis, Salmonellosis, Dysentery, Foot Rot, Sinusitis, Urinary Tract Infection, CRD, Blue Comb Disease; against Whitish, Yellowish and Greenish Diarrhoea in Poultry.

Control of Pox, Newcastle and Gumboro Diseases in Poultry.

Fish: Against infections such as fin rot, tail rot, pop eye, kidney bloat, and external columnar disease.

Dosage:

For Oral Administration in:

Poultry, Rabbits: 50g – 100g Powder/100 Litres of Drinking Water for 5 – 7 days.

Calf, Pigs, Foals, Lambs:

Prevention:

100 – 150mg Power/kg Body Weight Daily for 5 – 7 days

Treatment:

200 – 300mg Powder/kg Body Weight for 5-7days

Fish: 5 grams (a teaspoon) into 25 litres (5 gallons) water with 25% (1/4) water change before each treatment.

Treat for 10 days. If pH is 8.0 and above, mix with feed at 50g Oxyril per 100kg feed. (60 minutes static bath (5g/25 litres) against columnar disease.)
