Moosun Tylosin is a pure tylosin antibiotic effective against Mycoplasma gallisepticum (CRD), Streptococci, Staphylococci, Pasteurella and other tylosin-sensitive bacteria in poultry and livestock. Rapid absorption and good tissue distribution make it ideal for respiratory and systemic infections. Use under veterinary direction and observe withdrawal periods.
Description
Moosun Tylosin is a macrolide antibiotic with bacteriostatic action against Gram-positive and Gram-negative cocci. After oral administration, therapeutic blood levels are reached within 2-4 hours
Overview
Moosun Tylosin is a pure tylosin antibiotic formulation designed to treat a wide range of bacterial infections in poultry and livestock. Tylosin is particularly prized for its effectiveness against pathogens such as Mycoplasma gallisepticum (a major agent in Chronic Respiratory Disease or CRD), Streptococci, Staphylococci, Corynebacteria, Pasteurella, and agents of infectious synovitis and sinusitis. Because it is well absorbed from the upper digestive tract, Moosun Tylosin achieves therapeutic blood levels quickly and distributes well into body fluids and tissues—helping resolve systemic and respiratory infections faster.
How Moosun Tylosin works
Tylosin is a macrolide antibiotic that inhibits protein synthesis in susceptible bacteria, producing a bacteriostatic (and in higher concentrations, bactericidal) effect. This makes Moosun Tylosin highly effective for controlling CRD complex (Mycoplasma-associated disease), resolving pneumonia and sinusitis, and treating infectious synovitis and other systemic infections in poultry and small ruminants.
Practical benefits & target uses
-
Rapid control of CRD (Chronic Respiratory Disease) caused by Mycoplasma gallisepticum.
-
Treatment of poultry pneumonia, sinusitis, infectious synovitis, and many gram-positive bacterial infections.
-
Useful in cattle, sheep, goats and pigs for tylosin-sensitive infections where rapid tissue penetration is needed.
-
Supports flock/herd recovery, reduces mortality and improves feed conversion during disease outbreaks.
Natural supportive pairing
After antibiotic therapy with Moosun Tylosin, farmers often support recovery by adding a multivitamin/ amino acid mix such as Adamovit Multivitamin or Aminanor Amino Acid Oral to restore appetite and growth. For animals that have been heavily medicated, liver support like Hepaklin Liver & Kidney Tonic helps speed metabolic recovery. These follow-up products are available on our site and integrate naturally into a post-treatment recovery plan:
Important safety note
Use Moosun Tylosin under veterinary guidance. Follow label directions, observe recommended withdrawal periods for eggs, milk or meat, and avoid unnecessary use to limit resistance development.
Indication:
Tylosin is effective against a large number of causative agents of diseases ( Streptococci, Staphyylococci, Corynebacteria, Pasteurella, Antrax and Erysipelas Bacilli, and others). It is particularly effective against Mycoplasma gallisepticum (CRD). The drug is well absorbed from the proximal parts of the digestive tract, so that a therapeutic blood level is rapidly attained. It is also well diffused in body fluids and tissues. Tylosin is very effective in the treatment of Chronic Respiratory Disease complex (CRD-complex).
It is also efficient in the treatment of infectious synovitis and sinusitis, as well as several other poultry diseases.
