Moosun Colistin Sulphate 6000 is a potent bactericidal veterinary antibiotic specially designed for the treatment and control of gastrointestinal infections caused by gram-negative bacteria, with a strong action against Enterobacteria, especially Escherichia coli.

Colistin, a polymyxin antibiotic, acts by disrupting the bacterial cell membrane, making it extremely effective in treating antibiotic-resistant cases of enteric diseases. This product is highly indicated in calves, goats, sheep, and poultry for the treatment of:

Indication:

Colistin has a potent bactericidal action against gram-negative bacteria especially enterobacteria and more particularly Escherichia coli.

This product is indicated for the treatment of gastrointestinal infections caused by colistin-sensitive bacteria, like E. coli, Haemophilus, and Salmonella spp., in calves, goats, poultry, and sheep. It is also efficient to control obstinate dysentery that is resistant to other antibiotic drugs.

Dosage and Administration:

For oral administration:

100 g per 1000 liters of drinking water or 500 kg of feed, for 3-5 days.

Precautions:

Do not use during the laying period.

Do not use continuously for more than one week.

WARNINGS: Keep out of reach of children. Wash hands after use.

Withdrawal Period:

Poultry: 7 days;

Calves, goats, and sheep: 7 days.

STORAGE: Store in a dry, dark place between 2 °C and 25 °C.

Store in closed packing.
