Levamisole Injection 10% is a fast-acting injectable dewormer for cattle, sheep, goats, and pigs. It eliminates gastrointestinal worms and lungworms, improving feed conversion, growth, and overall productivity in livestock.

Levamisole Injection 10% is a powerful injectable anthelmintic designed to treat and control helminthic infestations in cattle, sheep, goats, and pigs. It is highly effective against both gastrointestinal nematodes (mature and immature stages) and lungworms, which are major causes of poor weight gain, low productivity, and mortality in livestock.

Levamisole works by paralyzing and killing internal parasites, allowing the animal’s immune system to recover and thrive. Its injectable form ensures rapid absorption into the bloodstream, giving fast relief from worm burdens and helping animals regain appetite and strength.

Benefits of Levamisole Injection 10%

  • Cattle: Clears lungworm and stomach worm infections, reducing coughing, labored breathing, and weight loss.

  • Sheep and goats: Effective against Haemonchus, Ostertagia, and Trichostrongylus worms that cause anemia and bottle jaw.

  • Pigs: Controls Ascaris suum and other intestinal worms that slow growth and reduce feed efficiency.

Boosting Recovery and Productivity

Farmers often pair this dewormer with Multivitamin WSP to replenish vitamins and stimulate appetite during recovery. After deworming, many also support gut health with Bioshield Oral to restore beneficial gut flora and improve feed conversion. These combinations speed up recovery and help animals reach market weight faster.

 Indications:

Treatment of helmintic infestations caused by both gastrointestinal nematodes (mature and immature stages) and lungworms in cattle, sheep, pig, and goat.

Dosage and Administration:

For subcutaneous or intramuscular injection (the injection must not be given in the areas of shoulder or haunch rich in nerves). 1ml per 20kg of body weight (animals heavier than 450kg, a dosage of 22ml should be administered). As a rule, one single treatment suffices.

Caution:

Careful cattle weight estimates are essential for the proper performance of the product. It is recommended that Levamisole be injected in cattle in stocker or feeder condition only.

Cattle nearing slaughter weight and condition may show objectionable reactions at the site of injection.

An occasional animal in stocker or feeder flesh may show swelling at the injection site. The swelling will subside in 7-14 days and is not more severe than that observed from commonly used vaccines and bacterins.

Warning:

Keep this drug out of reach of children. Do not administer to cattle within 7 days of slaughter for food to avoid issues.

To prevent residues in milk, do not administer to dairy animals of breeding age.

Withdrawal Time:

Meat: 5 days

Do not use on lactating cows.

Storage:

Store in a cool and dry place, protect from sunlight.
