Description:

Floxinor Enrofloxacin belongs to the group of quinolones and has bactericidal activity against Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria, including anaerobic

pathogen populations .Most important micro-organisms are: Ecoli, Mycoplasma spp Salmonella spp, Staphylococcus spp.,Pasteurella spp.,Streptococcus spp., Nebsiena spp., Pseudomonas spp and Campylobacter spp.

Floxinor 10% is a high-potency broad-spectrum antimicrobial solution containing Enrofloxacin, a fluoroquinolone antibiotic highly effective against a wide range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, as well as Mycoplasma species. It is specially formulated for use in cattle, pigs, calves, sheep, and goats to manage acute and chronic bacterial infections that threaten animal health and productivity.

Indications:

Floxinor 10% is indicated in the treatment of infections caused by micro-organisms sensitive to Enrofloxacin such as:

• Gastrointestinal infections such as enteritis, Colisepticemia, and Coli-diarrhoea

• Respiratory tract infections including (broncho)pneumonia, Mycoplasma infections, and Pasteurellosis

• Urinary tract infections

• Wound infections

• Secondary bacterial infections arising from viral diseases

• Para-typhoid infections

Dosage and administration:

For intramuscular (IM) or intravenous (1.V) injection.

Cattles, calves, sheep, goats, pigs: 1 ml per 20 – 40 kg live body weight for 3-5 consecutive days.

Withdrawal period:

Meat:

Cattles, calves, sheep, goats: 21 days.

Pigs: 14 days.

Milk: 4 days.
