Floxinor is indicated in the treatment of susceptible gastrointestinal, respiratory, and urinary tract infections (CRD, Colibacillosis, Fowl cholera, Fowl typhoid & other salmonella infections, Omphalitis, Yolk sac diseases, enteritis, diarrhea, pasteurellosis, etc…) to enrofloxacin in poultry, pig, cattle, rabbits, and sheep.
Indications:
Floxinor 20% inhibits the synthesis of DNA within the bacteria, resulting in bacterial death. Thus, it is indicated in the treatment of susceptible gastrointestinal, respiratory, and urinary tract infections (CRD, Colibacillosis, Fowl cholera, Fowl typhoid & other salmonella infections, Omphalitis, Yolk sac diseases, enteritis, diarrhea, pasteurellosis, etc…) to enrofloxacin in poultry, pig, cattle, rabbits, and sheep.
-Treatment of respiratory system infections caused by Pasteurella and Mycoplasma.
-Haemorrhagic septicemia.
– E.coli and salmonella infections.
-Enzootic pneumonia in calves and young cattle, and pneumonia in cattle
-Septicaemia and soft tissue infections.
-Secunder bacterial infections.
Dosage and administration:
Floxinor 20%® is administrated by oral routes. The recommended dose is 2.5 mg Enrofloxacin per 1 kg bodyweight daily.
In Poultry: add 50 ml of Floxinor 20% to 200 liters of drinking water for 3 to 5 consecutive days. In case of salmonellosis, apply Floxinor 20% for 5 days.
In Ruminants: 0.625 – 1.5 ml of Floxinor 20%R per 50 kg of live bodyweight.
In fish: add 100 ml of Floxinor 20% to 100 kg of feed or 2 ml of Floxinor 20% to 1 liter of water.
For treatment of Fin and Gill rot as well as skin ulcerations.
Lamb (once daily given in drinking water for 3-5days)
(10-20 kg bodyweight)….. 0.125-0.25
Sheep (20 – 40 kg bodyweight)……..0.25-0.5 ml.
Calves (once daily given in drinking water for 3-5 days)
(50-100 kg bodyweight)…………… 0.625 – 1.25
Young cattle (100 – 200 kg bodyweight) 1.25 -2.5 ml.
Cattle (200-400 kg bodyweight) …… 2.5-5 ml.
Withdrawal period:
– Meat: cattle 28 days, swine 5 days.
-Milk: this product is not approved for female dairy cattle 20 months of age or older, including dry dairy cows.
– Poultry :
Turkey: 13days Chicken:7days
Egg: 9 days
