FIPROFORCE | FIPRONIL

General Information:

FiproForce is a phenylpyrazole agricultural insecticide, which fipronil’s susceptible insects by direct contact with the spray and particularly by ingestion when insects feed on treated surfaces. It acts as a potent blocker of the GABA-regulated chloride channel. Fiproforce acts on the nervous system and is effective against insects that have developed resistance to pyrethroid, cyclodiene, organophosphorus, and/or carbamate insecticides.

Principal Uses:

FiproForce is an agricultural insecticide, toxic by contact and ingestion. It has limited xylem systemicity in some monocotyledonous crops. FiproForce can be used to control insects when applied as a soil or seed treatment. It is good to excellent residual control following foliar application. FiproForce controls multiple species of thrips on a broad range of crops (such as maize, millet, sorghum, rice, beans, cowpea, soybean, groundnut, potato, sweet potato, strawberry, cocoa, coffee, cola, citrus, date, plantain, banana, cotton, sunflower, tobacco, vegetables such as pepper, cabbage, cauliflower, tomato, onion, okra… etc) by foliar soil treatment in maize. FiproForce controls stem borers, leaf miners, plant hoppers, leaf folders/rollers, and weevils in rice. FiproForce controls boll weevil and plant bugs on cotton, diamond-back moth on crucifers (broccoli, brussels, sprouts, cabbage, cauliflower, Chinese cabbage collards, kale, mustard, radish, tuabaga, turnip). FiproForce controls Colorado potato beetle on potatoes by foliar application.

Directions of use:

Calibrate the sprayer before use. Half fill the sprayer with clean water and add the recommended quantity of Brand name. Agitate during the completion of filling then destroy the container. If FiproForce remains in the container, replace the cap tightly after use.

Rate of use:

NB: The volume of water to cover one ha is 400 liters

Compatibility: FiproForce is compatible with a wide range of fungicides, insecticides, surfactants & foliar fetilizers used in vegetables (Brassicas) and other crops.

Re-entry Period: 48 hours

Toxicity Class: ll

Pre-harvest Interval: It is 7 days for vegetables, 3 days for onions and other crops.

Protective precautions: Avoid contact with eyes, skin, clothing, and breathing vapors. Wear protective clothing, gloves, and goggles. Do not drink, eat smoke tobacco during application. Wash the used equipment and bathe after application.

First aid: If contaminated with skin or clothing, take off contaminated clothes and rinse skin with plenty of water. If inhaled, move the person to fresh air. If the person is not breathing, give artificial respiration. If swallowed, induce vomiting and drink enough water. Seek medical attention

Handling and storage cautions: Do not store near food, feed, or drinking water. Store in dry, well-ventilated area below 30°C.

Disposal of the pesticides empty container: Wastes should be disposed off in a landfill approved for pesticide disposal or according to Federal, State, and Local rules.
