Indications:

ERYCONOR WSP is for the treatment of respiratory infections, especially Chronic Respiratory Disease (CRD), and Gastrointestinal infections. It is effective against bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus(e.g. infectious arthritis), Haemophilus

paragallinarum (e.g. infectious coryza), Pasteurella multocida (eg. pasteurellosis; pneumonia) E. coli, Salmonella, Infectious Sinusitis, and Enteritis in Calf, Lamb, and Poultry

Dosage and Administration:

–Poultry

Prevention: 1 g per 2 liters of drinking water for 3-5 days

Treatment: 1 g per 1-1.5 liters of drinking water for 3 days

–Calves & Lambs: 2 g per 10 kg body weight daily for 3-5 days via drinking water. Use only medicated water during treatment. Medicated water should be used within 24 hours. Discard unused medicated water after 24 hours.

Contra-Indication:

Do not administer to debilitated animals.

Pharmacological Actions: Erythromycin and Macrolides in general, act on the bacterial cell by inhibiting the Protein Synthesis, without affecting the Nucleic Acid Synthesis. Erythromycin could inhibit the protein synthesis by settling on the fraction 50s of bacterial Ribosomes (Ribosomes being intracytoplasmic orgonites of cells responsible for the protein synthesis). It is active against Gram-positive and Negative bacteria as well as Mycoplasma Colistin has a broad-spectrum bactericidal activity used in the treatment of intestinal infections caused by Gram-Negative bacteria (E. Coli, Salmonella Species, Shigella, Klebsiella, Haemophilus, and Pseudomonas in poultry, calves, and lambs. It has no toxic effect if given orally because it is poorly absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:

–Meat

Poultry: 7 days

Calf and Lamb: 5 days

Egg: 7days

STORAGE:

Store in a dry, dark place at a temperature below 30°C.

Store in a closed packing. Keep medicine away from children.
