Albenor Bolus 2500MG is a broad-spectrum anthelmintic formulated with Albendazole, a potent benzimidazole derivative, highly effective in the treatment and control of internal parasitic infestations in livestock. It is suitable for use in cattle, sheep, goats, camels, and other ruminants, providing reliable protection against a wide range of gastrointestinal, lung, and tape worms.

Indications:

Albenor Bolus 2500MG is indicated for:

• Lungworms: Dictyocaulus viviparous, Dictyocaulus filaria

• Gastrointestinal worms: Haemonchus spp., Ostertagia spp., Bunostomum spp., Cooperia spp., Chabertia spp., Nematodirus spp., Trichuris spp., Metastrongylus spp.

• Tapeworms: Moniezia spp.

Caution:

• Not recommended for treatment of acute Fascioliasis (Fasciola spp.).
• Not recommended for dogs and cats.
• Accurate assessment of live body weight is important for better results.

Dosage & administration:

For oral administration to control the following parasites:

• Calves and cattle: 1bolus per 120kg body weight.
• For Liver fluke infestation: 1 bolus per 70kg body weight.
• Sheep and Goats: 1Bolus per 70kg body weight.
• For Liver fluke Infestation: 1bolus per 60kg body weight.

Withdrawal period:

Pre-slaughter: 14 days, milk: 3 to 5 days.

Mode of Action:

Albendazole exerts its effect by selectively binding to parasite β-tubulin, inhibiting the polymerization of microtubules, and disrupting essential cellular structures. This leads to impaired glucose uptake, energy depletion, and eventually parasite death.
